Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve

 Tadoba National Park and the Andhari Wildlife Sanctuary. It is located in the Chandrapur district of Maharashtra. It is Maharashtra's oldest and largest national park, established in 1995 and comprising of 577.96 square kilometers (223.15 sq mi) of reserved forest and 32.51 square kilometers (12.55 sq mi) of protected forest. The Reserve includes the Tadoba National Park and the Andhari Wildlife Sanctuary, and is home to a variety of flora and fauna, including tigers, leopards, sloth bears, and over 195 species of birds. It is a spectacular destination for wildlife and nature lovers alike

Visitor information

The main attraction at the Tadoba National Park is jungle safaris. Open-top jeeps and buses with trained local guides are available for visitors. Accommodation is also available at various locations.

The nearest International Airport is Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur (140 kilometers (87 mi) via Umrer, Bhisi, and Chimur). The park is accessible by rail via Chandrapur railway station (on the New Delhi–Chennai mainline) which is 45 kilometers (28 mi)  away. The nearest main bus stands are Chandrapur 45 kilometers (28 mi)  away and Chimur 32 kilometers (20 mi) away.

ITINERARY

DAY 1  -: Departure for Nagpur

As we arrive at Nagpur early morning, a three hours drive takes us to Tadoba National Park. We transfer to the serene resort upon arrival. Lunch is served at the resort, post which we head for our first jungle safari to Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve and experience the majestic wildlife. On returning back to the resort, an informative slide show on the wild habitat of Tadoba is on the cards.

Dinner and overnight stay at Resort.

DAY 2  -: Jungle Safari

The day starts early as we leave for a morning jungle safari. Upon return, breakfast is served. Post some leisure time, and after lunch at the resort, we leave for another exciting jungle safari. Overnight stay at the resort.

DAY 3 -: Post morning safari, leave for Nagpur.

Leave for an early morning jungle safari. Depart for Nagpur post lunch. Take the evening flight back to Mumbai. with a memorable experience of Gagangiri Tours and Travels (MTDC Approved Travel Agency)
