MTDC  Karla is located on the bank of river Indrayani, at new Karla Caves Lonavala on the old Mumbai-Pune Highway just 7 Km away from  Lonavala.MTDC Karla has a huge complex with a swimming pool and water sports facilities. Rooms are like independent Bungalows. The MTDC resort is suitable for Family vacations with children it is also good for couples. The place is quiet and has a lake behind it where you can enjoy the boating facilities. The MTDC Resort Campus is very large with lots of trees. Monsoon is the best season to visit but it is beautiful even during other seasons. But this place is far from the city center/ Lonavala station so if you don't have your own vehicle, you may face problems getting out from here.
