Day-wise Itinerary 

Day 01: Mumbai / Pune - Alibaug - Murud

Alibaug is a coastal town and a municipal council in the Raigad District of Maharashtra, India. It is the headquarters of the Raigad district and is south of the city of Mumbai. Alibag is part of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and is situated at a distance of about 140km from Mumbai and 225km from Pune. Departure early in the Morning to Alibaug on arrival visit to Kulaba Fort in the Sea which is 1 Km in the Seashore. Then proceed to Aksa & Nagaon beaches near Alibaug then proceed to Kashid beach,  Kashid is an offbeat destination that is growing in popularity in travelers’ itineraries.  After Kashid beach proceeds to Murud City and check-in at the hotel/resort evening is free to spend on Murud beach o/n halt.

Day 02: Murud – Mumbai / Pune
After B/F proceed to Janjira Fort. It is situated on a rock of oval shape near the port town of Murud,165 Km south of Mumbai, Janjira is  the strongest marine fort in India (the word ‘Janjira’ is a corruption of the Arabic word Jazira for the island). This is approached by sailboats from Rajapuri jetty. The main gate of the fort faces Rajapuri on the shore and can be seen only when one is quite close to it.It has a small postern gate towards the open sea for escape. After Janjira fort returns back to Mumbai / Pune on arrival drop at residence /Airport / Railway Station with memorable experiences of Gagangiri Tours & Travels.
