About Baidyanath Gaya Tour

Baidyanath Dham is a much revered Dham belonging to Lord Shiva. The Baidyanath ji shrine is also differently referred to as Baijnath Dham or Baidyanath Dham.

This auspicious shrine falls within the Santhal Parganas in Bihar’s Deoghar region. Pilgrims from far and wide make a Yatra to Baidyanath Dham to pay their tribute to the Jyotirlingam of Lord Shiva enshrined here. The Baidyanath Dham Jyotirlingam is counted among the 12 sacred Shiva Jyotirlingams that our country has. Each year during the month of Shravan, Baidyanath Dham is heavily thronged by pilgrims. Package Itinerary

Day01 Arrive Patana-Patana-Devgarh

Upon your arrival at Patna station/airport you’ll be greeted by our tour representative who then drives you to Deoghar. Deoghar is a scenic place in the state of Bihar, well known for the famed Baba Baidyanath Dham shrine. The beautiful natural surroundings and salubrious weather make Deoghar, a distinct health resort too. On reaching check into hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day-02 Deogarh Sightseeing Deogarh-Gaya

Next day early in the morning we proceed to offer Puja and have a Darshan of Baba Baidyanath at the famed Baidyanath Dham temple. The Baidyanath Dham temple is an ancient shrine of lord Shiva and comes with a history that can be traced back to as far as the Treta Yuga. Myths hold that at this spot Ravana, the demon King carried out penance to please lord Shiva and get blessed by Him. The lord was moved by his devotion and appeared before him as Baidyaraj or ‘doctor’ to heal the issues he was suffering from. Thus, the shrine came to be known as Baidyanath Dham. After Darshan at Baidyanath Dham, we also visit some other popular attractions of Deoghar such as Basukinath, Maa Kali Shaktipeeth, Shivganga kund, Nandan Pahar. After completing Deoghar sightseeing, we depart for Gaya. On reaching, check into hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day-03 Gaya

Next morning we proceed for the Pind Dan ceremony at Gaya. Pind Daan at Gaya is said to offer respite to the souls of our deceased ancestors and they are sure to get salvation post the Pind Daan. After completing Pind Daan ceremony, we proceed to visit some other attractions of Gaya such as Falgu River, Akshay Bata, Vishnupad temple, Mangla Gauri and Bodh Gaya temple. Back to hotel for dinner and night stay.

Day-04 Gaya-Patana Dparture

Post breakfast you are driven back to Patna and dropped at the airport/railway station where our representative sees you off and you depart for your onward journey back home carrying with you lots of happy memories of the tour.
